CRUDO COLLECTIVE
Crudo is a colorful collective with musicians that dare to think different. We combine soulful instrumental compositions and fresh collaborations with dope singers, rappers and other musicians. Crudo means raw in Spanish, though when you listen to our music people should not expect a raw blues or rock band. Actually, the opposite is the case. We’re highly influenced by jazz, hiphop, neo-soul and various Latin styles. When the workers on a cocoa plantation cultivate raw cocoa, most of them don’t even know that the western world fabricates it into this buttery soft perfect snack that we call chocolate. When we create music we’d like to never forget that cocoa plant that started it all!
RIPA NA TULIPA
Ripa na Tulipa is a samba/pagode band formed in 2020, dedicated to organize “rodas de samba”. The musicians around a table play a repertoire that goes from the most rhythmic and danceable samba to the most nostalgic or melancholic. In the repertoire, the public can expect a showcase of some of the most notorious Samba composers and authors, like Fundo de quintal, Arlindo Cruz, Dona Ivone Lara, Revelação, João Nogueira, Jovelina Perola Negra, etc If you like samba you cannot miss the hottest roda in the city of Rotterdam and if you have not yet experienced a roda, you cannot miss this opportunity to experience a night of samba in the purest Brazilian style.
VOOS
Connie, Toby, Luuk en Bas vormen het Rotterdamse punkkwartet VOOS. VOOS maakt Nederlandstalige punk met korte bijtende nummers over alles wat zich afspeelt onder de oppervlakte.
VOOS kenmerkt zich door vaak korte nummers, met een hoge dosis energie en snelheid. Teksten zijn in het Nederlands, soms poetisch, maar altijd rauw en uit een maatschappijkritisch hart. Invloeden zijn oa. Dead Kennedy's, Crass, Seeing Red en Future Suck.

ANICETO BAND feat. ATANISHA
Anisha, geboren en getogen in Rotterdam, ontwikkelde haar liefde voor muziek al op jonge leeftijd. Tijdens haar tienerjaren studeerde ze aan de Havo voor Muziek en Dans, waar ze haar talent ontwikkelde. In de kerk sloot ze zich aan bij het jeugdkoor. Ze traden voornamelijk op met Kaapverdiaanse nummers en kregen zo bekendheid in de Kaapverdiaanse gemeenschap in Rotterdam. Tanisha’s muzikale repertoire omvat een mix van R&B en Kaapverdiaanse invloeden. Deze keer als ze ondersteund worden met de band van Anecito op toetsen. Manu Ramalho op bas en Ceciel Moyano op drums.

WILLIE DARKTROUSERS
Willie Darktrousers, onheil folk uit Donkerbroek. Willie zingt graag over pech en magie en de dood en het leven. En over wat animisme kan betekenen in het antropoceen. Gewapend met een rammelende gitaar, een stem als een gebroken huwelijk en zwartgallige maar kloeke teksten sleurt hij je dwars door zijn bizarre fantasie wereld. John Hill en Jorrit Westerhof spelen voor deze gelegenheid ook snaarinstrumenten ter extra sonische versiering van de liedjes."
Willie goes back to his roots. After stepping out into the drill rap scene he is back with a combination of northern folk and a pinch of medival sounds. Same voice but different tone.
DE HOEKMATTIES BAND
Dé Rotterdamse coverband uit Charlois. Ontstaan onder de vleugels van Werk en
Activiteitencentrum De Hoekmaat in Charlois. De band bestaat uit leden met diverse beperkingen ondersteund door twee
enthousiaste vrijwilligers en een begeleider van De Hoekmaat.
De Hoekmatties hebben een breed repertoire van gouwe ouwe. Ook stevige rock van Guns `n Roses worden met passie gespeeld. De enorme energie die die de band uitstraalt en het enthousiaste waarmee ze spelen zorgen voor een geweldige sfeer die het publiek steeds weer weet te raken. Het repertoire dat inmiddels naar de 50 nummers gaat is bedoeld voor iedereen! Maar bovenal gaat het om de sfeer en de verbinding dat samen muziek maken geeft. Wat zouden we moeten zonder muziek!
